I love an easy, no-fuss dessert—especially one that looks special. Last fall I used leaf-shaped sprinkles to make Fall Haystack Cookies, and they were gone in no time. This year I transformed that simple idea into a Valentine’s treat by swapping milk chocolate for white and topping the clusters with heart sprinkles. These White Chocolate Valentine Haystack Cookies are quick, pretty, and perfect for school snacks, office treats, or packaged as a sweet homemade gift.

The recipe is practically foolproof: just two main ingredients plus sprinkles. You don’t need to be an experienced baker to make a batch. They set up easily and store well, so you can prepare them ahead for parties or gifting.

Ingredients
- 1 bag white chocolate chips
- 2½ to 3 cups chow mein noodles
- Heart sprinkles (or any festive sprinkles)
Directions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, gently melt the white chocolate chips, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
- Stir in the chow mein noodles until they are fully coated with the melted chocolate.
- Drop about a tablespoon of the mixture onto a sheet of wax paper or foil to form individual haystacks. Sprinkle each cluster with heart sprinkles while the chocolate is still soft so the sprinkles stick.
- Let the haystacks sit at room temperature for a few hours, or until the chocolate has fully hardened. This makes about 15–20 small haystacks. Working in small batches (about five at a time) helps the sprinkles adhere before the chocolate sets.
- Store the finished cookies in a sealed container, layering wax paper between layers to prevent sticking.
Enjoy these quick Valentine’s treats—bright, crunchy, and perfect for sharing.
