A few of my favorites include a pine moto jacket, a teal long romper, and a cozy burgundy scarf that’s perfect for winter. Whether it’s snow on Monday and 80 degrees on Thursday (hello, Colorado), Nordstrom has seasonal pieces in colors you’ll want to wear all season long.
This year I’m completely into burgundy—some call it oxblood, which sounds even cooler. Call it burgundy or oxblood, it’s everywhere at Nordstrom: cardigans, sweaters, purses, booties, and dresses. Oxblood has become the new black and it’s a bold, sophisticated way to update your fall wardrobe.
I put together a look using several of my burgundy favorites. The long-sleeve ruched dress I chose comes in several colors like navy and blush. I own the sleeveless version in two colors because it fits so well, so I grabbed the long-sleeve version for fall. It’s incredibly comfortable and versatile—you can wear it on its own or layer a cardigan or jacket over it. Add a chunky scarf for extra warmth and texture.

Another trend that’s catching my eye this season is floral embellishments. I love the feminine detail they add to fall pieces, and I’m working on a small project that incorporates them. When I found both boots and a purse with floral details, I snapped them up. Velvet block-heel booties with floral embroidery are an easy way to make fall outfits more playful—pair them with a sweater dress or tuck skinny jeans into them for a chic, seasonal look. These pieces stand out for their color and texture.
