I love Williams Sonoma. It’s one of the few catalogs I still subscribe to, and I always enjoy paging through each issue. I was thrilled to attend a special blogger event during the #BeOurGuestEvent last week at the Williams Sonoma in Beverly Hills. We spent the afternoon eating, crafting, and learning about a limited edition Beauty and the Beast item. Here’s a recap of the experience.

On arrival we were treated to a menu inspired by the movie. The spread included dishes referenced in the “Be Our Guest” sequence, like beef ragu and cheese soufflé, as well as a comforting butternut squash soup. My favorite was the Rose Petal Lemonade — I went back for more than one glass.

We watched a chef demonstrate how to make the beef ragu using the limited edition Le Creuset Beauty and the Beast soup pot. The pot is a gorgeous blue, decorated with red roses and featuring “Be Our Guest” on the gold-toned handle — it drew immediate attention from everyone in the room.

The Le Creuset pot retails for $280 and makes a striking addition to any fan’s kitchen. It’s oven-safe up to 500°F, so it transitions easily from stovetop to oven for versatile cooking.

After we ate, we made paper roses with Handmade by Sara Kim. I’m not an expert at crafts, but Sara was a patient and talented teacher, and my rose turned out nicely. Her paper flowers are beautiful and would make a lovely, unique detail for weddings or special events.

Before we left, Williams Sonoma sent us home with gift bags that included an adorable kid’s chef hat. It’s perfect for little ones who love to play in their toy kitchens and encourages imaginative play.

The Le Creuset Beauty and the Beast soup pot is available at Williams Sonoma stores. If you’re interested, check your local Williams Sonoma for availability and upcoming culinary classes or events.
