Frothy Malt Drink is a comforting, warming and delicious malt-based drink — perfect on a cold winter’s day. It can also help you sleep better.
I often crave a warm drink just before bed, and my go-to is this frothy malt drink. It’s light rather than heavy, and on chilly days I’ll happily enjoy two or three cups.

I normally use fat-free milk for this drink, but if I don’t have it on hand I’ll use whole milk. I keep whole milk in the fridge since I’m usually the only one using fat-free for drinks.
A pinch of cinnamon adds an extra layer of warmth and comfort, exactly what you want on a cold evening.
You can heat the milk in the microwave or on the stovetop to your preferred temperature — I heat mine just below boiling. Check the instructions on your malt powder, because some varieties dissolve best in boiling milk.
