This recipe is family-friendly but can easily be turned into a cocktail by adding vodka or another spirit of your choice. The contrast of the vivid red punch and the gummy sharks makes the drink fun to serve and visually striking.

Ingredients:

  1. Red fruit punch Gatorade (bottles, see recipe amounts below)
  2. Lemon-lime soda (Sprite, 7-Up, or similar)
  3. Gummy shark candy
  4. Ice

Instructions:

For a pitcher:

Add plenty of ice to the bottom of the pitcher and drop in several gummy sharks so they settle among the ice.

Pour equal parts red fruit punch Gatorade and lemon-lime soda (roughly a 50/50 mix). Stir gently to combine without dissolving the gummies. Float a few more gummy sharks on top for decoration and serve immediately.

For individual glasses:

Place ice and 2–3 gummy sharks into each glass. Fill each glass half with fruit punch Gatorade and half with lemon-lime soda. Garnish with an extra shark on top, add a straw, and serve.
